Whew, it has been an intense August for me. First the Lunar Eclipse on August 7. Then the Lion's Gate on August 8. Now the Solar Eclipse on August 21. And I live in the path of Totality. In fact, I recently realized part of my soul mission was to energize this area.
Well I have felt like I have been physically and emotionally turned inside-out. Raw. Exposed. Vulnerable. Open. I don't want to even leave the house. I don't want to go on the walks I so dearly love.
Plus my brother is really sick, and I have been helping to care for him. And my dad was just taken to the hospital because he passed out at his church on Sunday. Needless to say, the family stuff has been intense.
But this too shall pass. No matter what happens in life, I always have the choice to meet the challenge with love or with fear. And I choose love. It is who I really am.
Stay strong! One of my favourite quotes to live by is;
It's always darkest before the dawn.
