Oh wow.
I had a lovely day today.
Because I met the lovely @redrica.
Plus the husband and their two lovely little kiddos!
A few weeks ago, she told me that they had planned a spontaneous trip to Amsterdam between Christmas and New Year's and asked if I wanted to meet up.
So obviously I said YES!
After figuring out what we were going to do, we decided it was best if the family came to Rotterdam (because duh this place is AMAZING).
But we also needed something for the kids to do so @redrica thought that the pancake boat would be perfect!
Now if you don't know what the pancake boat is, it's time you do know
It's a 75 minute cruise through the centre of Rotterdam with all-you-can-eat pancakes and a huge ball pit for the kids to play in.
Pretty damn amazing right?
We had a blast!
Eating yummy pancakes, chatting away about all different kinds of topics and just having a really good time.
Both @redrica and her husband are mega cool people and I am grateful I met them!
Afterwards we had a little wander down into town to a playground so the little ones could have a bit of play time whilst @redrica and I got to know each other better on a bench.
A BIG thank you to @redrica for making this happen.
You are one damn cool lady and I am already looking forward to the next time we see eachother!
This whole experience makes me love Steemit even more.
It's the bringing together of like-minded people and connecting with human beings who you would never ever would have met if it weren't for Steemit.
Here's to creating friendships online and making them happen in the real world aswell.

Thank you! I haven't met up in person yet, although I'm friends with some on other networks, Minds and Facebook :) I'm kinda new here, I joined a while ago but stopped checking in for a few months. Now I'm back and learning more about how Steemit works lol
