Things billionaires have in common?

in #life6 years ago

They all have over $1B by definition.
They all likely own more than 1 home.
They all likely are on at least wife
They all likely carry a premium credit card like black Amex or JPMorgan card.
They all likely made the money by building real value.
Many of them dropped out of college. According to Forbes, there is a surprising number of billionaires without a college degree. 35% of billionaires never finished undergrad.
They all likely own or use private air transportation.
They all likely have been fired from at least 1 job.
Most don't waste money on exotic car collections.
Most do not use email or social media.
Most don't wear a watch since they operate on their own time.
THEY INVEST A LOT IN REAL STATE.
"Ordinary people" give up on their dreams far too easily. Why they do this is complicated, personal, and so on. Billionaires might be part insane, and some of them get where they are because of luck more so than others, but basically they drive, right to the edge.

Or maybe they don't. The point is that it takes millions of little decisions to go from here to there. You need a really strong reason to motivate you through all of the that. You need something to fight for.

Anyone who says that it's "these couple of things" that make the difference has no idea what he/she is talking about. There is a big long list of things. Billionaires are billionaires because they have tons of motivation, and tons of practice. That's it.
