Apparently my kids got up in the middle of the night, trashed the room, stripped the beds and fell asleep on each other on a nest of blankets.
Both Katana and Malakai have almost opposite sensory issues, and its been a long road to get them to even recognise each other let alone show this level of affection and trust.
So cute that it almost doesn't bother me to be reassembling all of the beds for the 5th time in the last 3 days :P

Geee ! Knowing about your stories I read from a few months ago I am amazed what parents you are and
I do remember those moments when my daughter would finally fall asleep at the end of a long day.
I nearly lost my baby at birth because she was hanging on her umbilical cord. Some miracle got us both through but she would not allow anybody to touch her for 2 years and she would not fall asleep ever, unless I was laying down with her. It's such a long story!
Tahnee is 22 now and getting better but still has sleeping disorders, unless she smokes a joint. Haha oh well!

I can understand exactly what you're feeling. I have an 8 year old daughter with some sensory issues, perhaps Asperger's too, we don't really know. Because I'm so keenly aware of her struggles, I celebrate each victory however small it may seem to the outside world, and in spite of extra work it may make for me. I'm sorry I missed the earlier posts on this. Maybe you can give me the links?
