I can heavily relate to a lot of what you say there. I have general anxiety too, at my worst time I had several phobias packed together... it's funny how this type of disorder generally revolves around the same issues, just like OCD. One thing you ended up not mentioning is how people end up identifying themselves with the anxiety, instead of acknowledge it is something they currently have, however permanent it may seem, and not their personality. Also, how people that suffer from that are typically afraid to let the fear go... that they need it to be safe, which is actually quite comical if you think about it. Sometimes I laugh at myself because of that =)
