My husband and I have been married for 4 years. I truly feel I'm one of the luckiest women in the world. Of course, we have a hard time sometimes, but including those, we are having a good and happy marriage life.
I will give you 5reasons why we are having happy marriage life.
#1 Keep saying ''Thank you"
The Very beginning of relationship men and women say ''Thank you'' to each other every time, even small things. However, after a long relationship, we tend to say less ''Thank you'' but my husband doesn't.
When I do daily house chores like cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping and laundry, he always says ''Thank you'' to me. He has been saying Thank you almost every day.
To say ''Thank you'' cost nothing but make people feel great.
#2 Do little things.
Marriage life is not fantasy, so it is better not to expect your partner give you surprise gifts or special vacations every birthday, anniversary and holidays. Sorry if I make you disappoint.
However, we can do little things for each other in daily life. He makes me a cup coffee in the morning because he knows I love to start a day with coffee. Of course, I say ''Thank you'' every time he does. I sometimes give him neck massage because he has a stiff neck. Those things are very little things but matters a lot.
#3 Let me be positive.
Sometimes I have a difficult time to stay positive. But my husband always encourages me and give me positive perspective.
#4 Not only a husband but also a best friend.
I love hanging out with my husband. We both love to travel, eat, bike and beer. We sometimes travel and visit the new places to have new experiences and expand our perspective. We sometimes have some beer and talk about stupid things and laugh together. Definitely, he is one of my best friends.
I believe that good friendship is forever.
#5 Respect as a person.
I respect him as a person. He is smart, considerate and has responsibility. I've learned many things from him and will keep learning from now on too.
To be with people who you respect, you can grow and learn.
