I'm pretty sure you guys have heard the saying: "Live everyday like it's your last", and although it sounds really motivational and lively, if you really think about it, it makes absolutely no sense to follow it in real life.
To say that you live everyday like it's your last, is to say that you are no longer bound to the morals and ethics of the society that you live in and will do as you please even if it might be at the expense of others.
Even though if we as people of the society don't speak openly about it, we would all commit some pretty horrible crimes if we were to realize that today is our last day. Well, most of us anyways.
The only reason we behave and act honestly, is because we know that we are going to stay on this planet for a longer period of time and that we all want to leave our own legacy behind.
We behave because we want the generation after our's to look up to us for inspiration and guidance. But this would never be possible if each of us started to live everyday like it was our last.
The Major Fuck-Up In The Economy
You don't need to be an economist to imagine what would happen to the world's economy if everyone stopped doing their work and started "living their day to the fullest". Needless to say, the economy would fall and things would go crazy in no time.
People would want to use up all their savings in one go and have the absolute best time of their life, but the problem is, there would be no one to sell you those products or services because no one would be willing to offer you anything as they would be trying to do the same thing you are: living everyday like it's the last.
In simple words, the demand of some products or services would be skyrocketing, but the supply wouldn't be able to meet it because the sellers aren't willing to sell as they don't wanna waste their precious time either even if it means not taking advantage of the high prices.
Speaking of savings though, the reason we save money in the first place is because, again, we know that we are going to stay here for a longer time and that we need to think of the future and take steps to ensure a comfortable retirement.
If we really followed the saying, we would become wildly impatient and there would be chaos everywhere because no one would want to waste even a single second on something that doesn't bring them instant gratification as they want to feel good as much as possible.
Irrational Behavior And Extreme Apathy
If everyone started to live everyday like it was their last, then it wouldn't take much time for people to go completely and inevitably reckless and out of control. The concept of decency and subtlety would soon seem foreign to us.
We would never want to participate in anything that takes a long time because it would seem pointless to us as we might not be there to witness the end result of pretty much anything.
So, to satisfy ourselves, we would only do things that are exciting, bring instant happiness, and most importantly, are short-lived. Some men would even go violent and aggressive if they didn't instantly got what they want.
We also wouldn't care about our own health, let alone others', and consume whatever is the tastiest even if it might be really toxic for our bodies in the long run, because.. well, it's your last day.
Believing in something like this not only violates the social rules and norms that we need to maintain order and discipline, but also makes a person completely apathetic and unfit to survive in a society governed by morals and values.

I'm agree with you. But live everyday like it's your last day: that saying for those who don't enjoy their life. So that they can feel that enjoy their life, life is too short, don't waste it.
Btw I remembered one thing when I read that post, when I was kid once I thought that why I'm studied when it was my last day 😜

That's a good point. It might be useful for people who want to have a little more fun in their lives, but if we start to live by it, problems are bound to arise.
