I had to write a post on the practice of Buddhism, but noticed that many are concerned about their own weight, and therefore decided not to postpone and lay out their own experience. Would not write, if there was no experience.
So. I did not have any recipes, methods, trainings and other wisdom to get rid of excess weight. I did not experience myself. I saw a lot of content on this topic. I saw the action of all these "councils" and "advisers" on specific people. And I realized that the only effective method of getting rid of excess weight is the council of millennia: you eat breakfast yourself, lunch is stripped with a friend, dinner is given to the enemy. And I do. Only I do not eat dinner at all, there are no enemies.
All the rest, forgive me, superfluous, confuses, lures money, health, nerves, adds new ones to old diseases. A real sport - for athletes living in a strict regime. We are not up to the sport, we need a normal weight, our regime is more rigid.
Therefore, I write, relying only on my own experience, with simple phrases, without complicating the text with different teachings and trainings. But the reader's brains will have to be struck, for obvious things reach our man very hard. Instead of adjusting his own regime, he will bring himself to a 150-kilogram carcass and will study the laws of karma, the rules of samurai, the meditation of Tibetan monks or the Qigong method.
The first and most important thing that you need to understand to get rid of excess weight: You are the master of the body, and the body is only a servant. You must manage it, and not it you. Give him the will, he immediately begins to demand a variety, delicious (harmful) food, expensive clothes, trinkets, equipment, etc. He will demand and demand everything that is not necessary for the spirit of man, his real essence. He will lead you to disease, madness and death. All the techniques and trainings screaming about getting rid of excess weight are written by such servants, and not by the genuine experience of the human spirit.
The second and most important: after understanding the first reason, you must establish for your servant (body) severe control, bridle it, take it into circulation and then not indulge in anything. And because off the poison: alcohol and tobacco.
I repeat what I have gone through: the entire body must serve the spirit of man, and not vice versa. If the spirit is weak or weak, then the body begins to indulge. This is the main reason for your problems with being overweight. Always repeat these phrases to yourself, for repetition has been and remains the mother of teaching and the father of rigorous action. Understand these words and rules at the most serious level, because the question is about your life and death.
So: breakfast is itself, lunch is only half the norm, dinner is absent. Some do not eat after 5 or 6 hours, but it seemed to me too ineffective schedule. I do not eat after 2 hours.
But now about your own experience.
I was born and grew up in an extremely athletic village, where there was an active and healthy way of life, physical labor and nature that promotes the health of a person.
Half of the village are masters, candidates for masters, dischargers for a variety of sports. The main of them: freestyle wrestling, archery, light and heavy athletics, volleyball, table tennis, skis, skates. Today, the natives of our village are running the sport bow of Russia. They are the leaders of the federation, coaches, athletes.
My main vocation is literature. A real writer at the age of 30 is perseverance, perseverance and perseverance. Plus to this - the natural propensity to obesity, inherent in almost all the peoples of Siberia, the North and the Far East of Russia.
Years and decades passed. The results of literary disgraces, I did not even notice. Once weighed - 100 kilograms. I was even delighted: this is how powerful I am. The next time the scales showed - 115 kilograms. Then - the hospital, the diagnosis - pre-infarction. In general, we arrived.
But it's never too late to drink Borjomi! I understood the main thing: I will not lose weight - I will give the ends and go to eternal swimming ")

He began to forget about something that was flour. Rarely, black bread. How long has it been like this? The result - for six months, further - all my life. And in life there is a lot of beauty, especially a regime that elevates the spirit and makes the body work. And how many wonderful products for that!
Being convinced of the rightness of the ancients, he made up his own schedule, diet and began to tame the body. A month later I lost 18 kilograms ...
Seeing on the scoreboard instead of 115 - 97 kg, I decided that I bridled the servant, calmed down, realized that I could reach up to 80 kilograms without effort ... Without difficulty?
The person is weak, healed, he immediately forgets about the disease. After a year of computer life, the spirit began to weaken, and the servant immediately took up the old one and dialed 113 kilograms again.
But after all, I already had experience.
I remembered all my life, all the lessons that the Buddhist lamas taught me-my relatives, the practice of taming the mind, shoveled up the mountains of literature that I had studied before-this is a continuous philosophy. I was destined to live in this environment and know such literature, but I did not take it seriously. Apparently, it's time to do it. And I started.
Before taming the body, one must tame the mind.
With such luggage I began to live again according to the regime: breakfast itself, lunch half, dinner is absent. Now in front of me is always a computer, philosophical literature. And - pure water. In the morning - walk, at lunch - light aerobic gymnastics or physical work, in the evening - walk. And the undying thought is about taming the mind, the body, the practice of Shamatha.
The result: it was 113, it was 105, the goal - 80. I'm only engaged for half a month. Now it will become a way of life. Perhaps it's easier for me: I must return to my origins, to what was, but gone unnoticed. Someone needs to create a new life: learn the laws and regimes taming the mind and body.
