Hope to Become Election Committee

A total of 3,096 prospective members of the Election Committee (PPS) of Aceh Tamiang District took the test in the Sports Hall. More than half of that amount will be lost. Friday, February 23, 2018.

Ketua KIP Aceh Tamiang, Alhamda, SH. sebutkan jumlah 3.096 peserta seleksi administrasi. Dari seleksi ini, enam orang per desa akan terpilih berdasarkan nilai tertinggi, mereka berhak mengikuti tahap seleksi berikutnya yaitu tes wawancara.

Kabupaten ujung timur Aceh itu, memiliki 213 desa. Dilihat dari jumlah di atas hanya terpilih sementara sebanyak 1.278 orang, lebih dari 1.818 pemohon akan gugur. Dan terakhir hanya 3 orang terpilih per desa.

Bila dihitung kebutuhan 12 kecamatan, 213 desa hanya dibutuhkan 639 orang yang akan menjadi panitia tingkat desa untuk menyelenggarakan pemilihan DPRD, DPRD, DPD, Presiden dan Wakil Presiden pada tahun 2019.

Jumlah Tertarik

Ketua Alhamda KIP Aceh Tamiang mencurigai banyak peminat PPS di tingkat desa karena persyaratan usia minimum 17 tahun. Selain itu, katanya, terbukti banyak warga yang ingin menjadi panitia pemilihan.

Sementara beberapa pihak memiliki prediksi yang berbeda mengenai jumlah pendaftar PPS tingkat desa. Tidak adanya pekerjaan untuk usia produktif juga merupakan salah satu faktor. (***)
