Well, today I thought I would show you one of my listings I have sold for clients over the years.
--
I can honestly say this was one of the nicest listings I have not only had, but also has the pleasure of viewing. The custom finishes / square foot were truly stunning.
It matched some of the luxury finishings that were in the 15,000 sq. foot ICI / Commercial building-warehouse I sold for him a year or more earlier.
I posted on that amazing building 2.5 mths ago here, this past March:

That's a nice property! I'm here in Vancouver and it's so crazy expensive here now... they keep saying the bubble is waiting to burst but it's going strong. I suppose time will tell. Hope the home found a happy new owner!
Oh I have spent plenty of time in your area! I was in about 15 communities inside the BC boundaries in 2006 for a few mths.
I climbed Grouse Mountain and did the Grouse Grind in under 60 mins. I snowboarded at Whistler. I lived at the foot of Grouse in a massive house for a month. I loved my time out there and many other BC communities.
Nice, that's a real good time for the grind! It's still not open yet as we had such a great winter season. So glad you enjoyed it out here, it's a pretty great place. The only rough thing about it is the traffic lol, there's been lots of development since you were here but the roads haven't changed a bit!
The "improvements" to prep for Whistler 2010 Olympics was a nightmare, I saw it while I was there just starting in tiny bits and kept a watch on that end of the news for years and talked to people.
More gov't waste and contracts like the usual suspects like Miller Co with different arms getting greased, for negligible "improvements" like the 99 North project to Whistler.
Oivay.
Have a good day, Steem ON!!
Beautiful house!
Love the hair ;)
I actually think I was meaning to look at a different post, but this one caught my eye. I'll have to find the other one too lol.
I tagged you in the OLD one from 2.5 mths ago that was mentioned here. You had commented there so when I was looking for that post, figured I would send you here too.
Did you notice the $1.2M listing of the big office building I sold has the finishes like in this basement, I mentioned in the post here??
I did not know if anyone would ever notice, so that is why I mentioned it here!
(:
Dude you look sharp!
Thanks a lot!!
TY for the comments!!!
Have a good day, Steem ON!!
That's a lot of sq ft for a structure that looks half that size from the outside. They did a damn good job using every inch and didn't skimp on the finishes. Usually, the non-family areas get a slightly lower level of 'bling', but that didn't happen here. Very well executed design. You can tell because it's so comfortable without being 'in your face' about it. Subtle elegance.
I could live there. ;~D
the former mayor of the town is a friend of mine. I had him thru the house on a personal one on one tour and we looked at the solar panel setup on the house also, I had him consult on how to fix a broken panel, as he became a partner after he left office in a solar firm.
His wife saw the marketing of the house and tried to get John to take her thru this house.
We had a laugh about this LOL
Hell, yes, I would angled for a tour of that place, too!
Nice to see a mayor go from public office to a helpful industry like solar. That's uncommon and to be commended.
I publicly supported this guy for office, his team called me last election for helping them find space for their office they were struggling with, and I found them a spot and got them the keys within hours and it amazed him and his campaign manager Barb.
LOL
I was also the first donation to his campaign if you look at his audited campaign finances.
I believed in him and you are never going to fully 100% agree with anyone or any politician but he was the best choice for this city over this other fascist police state sociopath running things into the ground who lobbied to have me banned from city hall twice, secret meetings, police with guns tackling residents in the chambers of our PUBLICLY OWNED buildings, telling half truths about residents he does not like ( some would call them outright lies) - etc.
Gutless coward and I have 200 emails to the media - city hall - council and the residents on the record saying the same thing.
I don't know how some people sleep at night or even look at themselves in a mirror. Greed and power-seeking twists them, I think.
I'd rather be me than them. ;~D
I would rather them be you also Deb. LOL
Funny I am working on a community post now, half done, about Baseball Day in my town I have helped out at, you can see the community gather and watch a movie in Center field on a 40' screen !
I like stuff like this but the politics got in the way of this too, just trying to help the kids be kids.
There are grinches everywhere. Miserable sods.
I knew you would like to see this and we share RE related chats and values, your comments always mean a lot to me, and I am so behind on here.....
Holly shit Patch! Like in Al Pacino! That a nice house and deal!
Plus your title cracked me up so much.
Hey enjoy the price rise!
I get excited when I see your name come up in my replies, because it always encourages me or gives me a laugh.\
Both in this case brother.
It means a lot to me when you take time to comment on my stuff, I truly have ALWAYS appreciated it very much my man.
Thank you!
Marketing seems right. Using the crocodile brain technique of getting them when they are hungry. Never underestimate the hunger factor.
People in the community would take photos of my signs and listings when I did this and spread it on social media for me and I loved that
(:
Helps everyone and I also openly told people it was half just to give people a laugh!
Wow... quite a spread! Around these parts (Puget Sound area, Washington) that would go for a couple of million plus, US $.
Thinking when we list ours we're going to say "Labyrinth for sale, house included."
I spent a lot of time in the Vancouver and Whistler areas N. of you in BC -- and there is a Puget Sound up that way too as you head up the 99 N. to Whistler, I honestly pulled over like 20x on the 90 min drive, to take photos and just look at the scenery, it was truly truly magnificent, it blew my mind man.
I get that... it's almost impossible to find a "bad view" around here... if you don't look at water and islands, odds are you're looking at mountains with snow and waterfalls.
Yes, it was truly horrible out there.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Free pizza with the purchase of a house! That's very clever!
Residents would take photos and spread it all round social media all the time, it was really smart on my end to know this would happen, TBH -- but it helped the clients, it was leveraged free marketing and I do love pizza and making people laugh!
It hit all the bases
TY for taking time to comment on this today my friend
Still laughing about this one!
Beautiful big house!
It was a great listing and VERY well appointed.
Beautiful house!
Oh hey my friend!!
Thanks for taking time to comment here today!!!
BJ Birdy from the Toronto Blue Jays says hi to you and your mom and thanks for stopping by my post @slowwalker!
Sweet cinema!! One day we will all have places like that!!
I had always planned to buy an apartment building, another reason this last year and a half in my life has been frustrating.
You will get there dude. We all will when steem explodes :0D
Smart for you to do something "funny" with your marketing. Humor and being memorable are just smart approaches.
Also, you're big pimpin' with that pose in the suit by your sign, Barry :)
Good input today!
Hope to see you later tonite and this weekend around the
