I came from a happy family of four. I have a younger brother four years younger than me. Growing up, I was taught how to be a responsible daughter. My parents, especially my dad, were strict with me getting into a relationship. I mean, that's how parents normally act, right? I didn't have a problem with that before. Then 2013 happened, we lost dad. We were devastated. Reality hit me. As the eldest child, I know I have to help my mom in supporting our family. I did online jobs while in college and add my earnings to my allowance. Then, I met a guy online**. He's so cool, nice and very sweet. Yes, I'm head over heels over him. He was simply amazing and my mom's cool with him too! Everyday, we talked. Both of us were clingy. It was one of the best feelings in my life. And so I graduated, not with flying colors (I wish though), in March 2017. Of course, I had a lot of plans going on in my head but there's still the licensure exam that needed to be focused on. My exam was scheduled on August. Review days started in May. It was intense, or maybe not as everyone else thinks it is, but it was for me and for my friends.
Then, at the month of June, I had my daughter.
How? Come on, we all know how. But, my daughter.... is not biologically mine. Now, you're wondering how? My brother got his girl pregnant and lo and behold, an angel came to my life, our lives. And changed my life forever.
I got a call from my mom on the first week of June telling me my brother's girl is pregnant. She also just found out about it a week ago before she made the call to me. And that, her delivery is gonna be on the last week of the month. Instant baby. Talking about life surprises here y'all.
To make the story short, I passed the board exam and started earning as a professional. Ever wondered where's the guy I told you guys about? We didn't really meet at all. It was a nice experience but didn't really work out, so we agreed to end our communication. And as for me, since my brother and his girl can't support their daughter's needs yet, I am technically their daughter's mother. It really feels I have a daughter and I am happy and contented now as ever. And that is how I became a mother at 21.
And now her first birthday is coming up, I better plan for that now. Thank you for dropping by!
