Crossing the mountain - A way of thinking about the future

in #life7 years ago

Life follows an inevitable cycle, beginning, middle and end. This is the only certainty we have in life, that one day it will end.

Making an analogy with the mountain, imagine that during our lives we go up and down the mountain, we cross the mountain until we reach the other side.

Beginning of life: It would be the first steps in this journey, we learn to climb, we decide which paths we will follow, if we are going to follow someone's path, if we will trace our own path, easier paths, more difficult paths. It is the moment of indecision, of changing paths, but as it is necessary to cross the mountain, this is the moment to stand at the foot of the mountain look and decide how we will begin this long crossing, or just go walking without a predetermined course . Here you climb the mountain playing!

Halfway through life: It would be almost the top of the mountain, the peak of life, the moment to stop and rethink "Was it easy here, I'm going on the right path, is this the way I want it, am I happy following this path?" It is still time for changes, here the child who started the climb is only in the memory, the middle of the mountain is very cruel, there is no more room for indecision, it takes a final decision. Here is the top of the mountain, time to take advantage of the heyday of life, or not, it will all depend on the choices you made at the beginning of the walk, but it is still time for changes.

End of life: It would be the beginning of the descent, still enjoying life, but as we all know "To go down all Holy help", it is easier to go down the mountain. It is at this time that we reap the result of all our choices made early and middle of life, changing paths now is much more difficult, almost impossible. Here you only choose if you are going to descend more slowly, taking advantage of each step or going down faster, with prey. If we look at death (the foot of the mountain), the foot of the mountain will also look at us. In this phase we only live with memories, if memories are good it is a sign that we have made good choices, regrets are caused by wrong choices. It's the end!

Each has its own mountain to climb and descend. No one returns from the end of the mountain to follow again from the beginning, as if it were a second chance, but we often find in our walk someone who is a few steps ahead of us, knows some ways and advises us.

Let's continue the walk !!!
