Southern Italy Road Trip - Day #6: Nature Photo Selection

Day 6 - National Park, Agropoli, WWF Park

After seeing a lot of tarmac, cities, and villages we felt the urge to be surrounded by nature and we explored the area around Marina di Camerota. We stopped in Parco Nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni.

It was very quiet and peaceful. The sights were so beautiful that the few pictures shown here do not do the park justice ;)

Next we visited Agropoli and its castle.

Agropoli itself is small, but the atmosphere is nice.

And I like their sense of humor:

Last stop of the day: Another part of the National Park. This turned out to be Grotte del Bussento, a nature reserve managed by WWF. It's an astonishing canyon covered with flourishing vegetation.

That was enough walking for Day #6!

Stay tuned. To be continued ;)

Good post and photographs. As we intend to settle in Italy in a couple of years time I have followed you and will back read your other 5 days... upvoted.

Thanks :) Oh that's exciting! I'm assuming you've been to Italy a lot then? Where do you live now and do you prefer a region to settle?

We have only been there once for two weeks, Rome, drove to Florence and explored for a week then on to Venice. I am living in Cape Town South Africa and my girlfriend has just received her Italian citizenship .... hence the need for THIS ... I need to get my Italian passport as well.
No real preferred region, her dad was from Tuscany but I was not so enamored with the area. The south looks really cool though....

Ok, interesting. Well in terms of looks: Every part of Italy is very pretty :) Personally we really liked the atmosphere and people in the South East. We'll get there at the end of the roadtrip :)

These pictures are stunning!
Love your trio @best-pomchi-ever!
Definitely will stay tuned :)

Thanks so much! :) I'll try to find the time to write the next one in the upcoming days ;)

Staring at the castle for 5 minutes, it is so beautiful.

Thanks :) Do you have a thing for castles? We'll visit a palace at the end of our trip that's also really cool.

Amazing article & photos! Keep uploading!

Thanks for your nice comment :) I definitely will!
