you are not cleanest nation in the world. you are the biggest energy consumer. Thinking that trump wants to fix anything at home is completely stubborn. All his decisions are made in favour of his rich friends. he just wants to help his coal and oil buddys to make some more money.
Letting India continue to pollute more makes sense in way that countries like india have to through a phase like the industrial revolution too and they just can't innovate as fast as America. Also the USA in my opinion has a responsibility just because they already favored so much from the whole system that they CAN give back. Won't hurt ya. Will also bring jobs and innovation like arnie is stating in the video. As long as people are dying from the pollution, it must be done something to prevent that, don't you think?
Where is he saying that we are so clean now?

When talks about how California is so clean and all the jobs that where created. Yes you are right we are 4% of the worlds population and we consume 25% of the worlds energy but it was our innovation as a country that made this possible with Standard Oil and the invention of the automobile why should we as a nation pay or feel guilty for being innovators. The world has Apple and Microsoft and the internet because of us the US. India as and example is a far older nation then the US with very intelligent people so why didn't they innovate they have had far more time then then the US to do it? As far as giving back the Us already does we as a nation protect most os the shipping lane in the oceans we have 170 bases around the world which is expensive so how are we not giving back.
Yes he talks about California as an example that does something towards a green energy future AND creating jobs while doing so. He certainly wouldn't state this for the whole country. One of the biggest reasons why america could stack up all the wealth and innovations that it has is because they are dominating and suppressing others. You shouldn't be proud of that. Protecting 170 bases around the earth does not give back to the world. It gives back to shareholders.
Look I see your point of view and it's valid I just do not agree with your perception of the USA. As an American who has served his country in Iraq, I have first hand knowledge of the injustice of the world. Thats one of the main reasons I get your view but as a Patriot who loves his country and has been willing to die for it I say let's take care of us here first.
