”One of the metaphors that I use for start-ups is, you throw yourself off a cliff and assemble your airplane on the way down. If you don't solve the right problem at the right time, that's the end. Mortality puts priorities into sharp focus.” - Reid Hoffman
Some friends and myself are currently working on a project that might - if we can get the idea funded -flourish to be a great company one day. So it seems I am the one standing on the edge of the cliff... My knees are shaking....
If you don't try anything you won't get anything. We humans work better under pressure as underlined by the quote you used. Go on and do what you need to do. Life is about risk-taking. Jump off the cliff and enjoy the view while you're plummeting towards the clear and welcoming waters of success!
Hi @patro, thank you so much for your motivating words. I'll definitely keep them in mind. :)
On this. You probably should. This is heaven.
:D yes, it's a lovely place. These cliffs are in the very south of Corse - just in case you are planning a trip to heaven ;)
Jumping and building the plane are one thing.
Clarity of vision and strength of drive, those are equally important, I would think.
Double check that those are accounted for and take a flying leap I say.
Good luck, and have fun!
Cheers,
Speck,
You are right. With my colleagues, I would jump from every cliff. They are simply awesome and I truly trust them. Thank you so much, @speckonarock!! :)
I really agree with @funnyman.
:D
Beautiful photo. I love the edgy clips and surrounding rocky landscape the shrine water. Sure jump, but first, make sure the isn’t anything sharp that you can dive into.
I will ;) Thanks for your the comment @katinamc!
Wow, the best place. I agree with.
Thank you very much @shakil018 :)
