Our families Christmas traditions begin the day after Thanksgiving. We watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and decorate our tree. We laugh and enjoy family time. The comedy in the movie brings out the joy of Christmas and all the things that can go wrong! Between the tree scene, the squirrel scene, and the kidnapping scene..the movie brings a ton of laughter. Its a Christmas movie that gets played daily. The laughs just keep coming.
This year with having 2 toddlers who are boys means protecting the tree. It had only been put up for 2 days before the 1 year old brought the tree down to the ground. We have a half decorated tree full of plastic ornaments. So into the pack n play it went. Now they cant tear it up before Christmas morning gets here.

ours is to eat like crazy single day before and after christmass.
we do plenty of eating ourselves! this year we are doing pork roast and tons of sides.
