Will it cause oil prices to decline? Not good for world economy if it does.
Eventually, oil will be replaced by other forms of energy. I think the economy needs to start adapting to the fact. It will not be easy because of the money in the oil industry will block other energy forms as best I as they could.
Actually, there are quite a few oil companies investing in alternative energy in order to diversify their assets. They see the writing on the wall and want to make sure they can capture growth in other areas while their traditional markets decline.
We are heading for a future with renewables and efficient storage of renewable resources. I have Stocks in hydrogen and solar power.
