One thing my wife and I quickly realized about our daughter as she moved out of the vegetable-like newborn stage is that she can be a little TYRANT.
Two of her nicknames (from Adriana): Angryana and Angry Llama
She attempts to rule us with an inner fury that she releases from time to time. This often comes out when we are trying to feed her. Even though she's actually hungry and will eat eventually, she lets us know that something about the process angers her.
As I type this she is doing her whining/growl thing from across the room. No real reason that I can think of, other than she needs/wants me to be carrying her... or something.
On that note, another thing that often makes her furious is when she isn't currently being carried around by someone. Anyone will do, but laying around is not what she wants and she lets us know.
One more interesting observation (to me at least), was that she almost always wants to be doing something other than what she is doing at that moment. What this means is that she is ALWAYS trying to move, escape, or as our son has put it in the past, "get loose".
Her little octopus arms are always grabbing things and searching for new things to grab within seconds.
I don't know if all girls are like this, but she is almost a polar opposite of our son who was generally relaxed and laid back as a baby.
Maybe we are just paying for that easy experience. Who knows?
Very funny your article, I hope soon with a child too. Have a great day
Lol! Funny post!
Followed.
Thanks! :)
Two of our girls were laid back. The third was a little more demanding. Good luck figuring her out though. Laid back or not, I'm still trying to figure out the women in my home :)
hah good luck with that. at least you'll have plenty of versions to analyze :)
My daughter seemed to be attached to my hip until she was 5 or 6. :/
crazy girls :)
HA! try doing it with twin girls!!! Love these types of posts!
yikes. thats all i got
Awesome baby game card. That is so true.
my baby crying lol
My daughter is 7 weeks old. She is also starting to become more active. If you pick her up she is constantly moving around watching everything. If you put her down she will stay nice and quiet for a while, until you decide to walk away and then the crying starts. Oh man can she cry. Like the screeching sound of a banshee. From volume 0 to 11 in 1 second back to 0 as soon as you pick her up.
