RE: Adoption of a child: Thoughts and musings

in #life8 years ago

I was adopted by my Aunt and Uncle when I was 6, along with my two sisters, 3 and 11. A cousin of mine and his wife adopted a Chinese baby, who is now 17 and glad to have been raised by loving parents. My recently discovered Aunt and Uncle were both put up for adoption as babies, had wonderful up bringing, are healthy happy members of society, and now also know there birth mother, and long lost family, but still have the people who raised them as the true family of the heart. So adoption, yes, if you have love to give, don't be afraid. It is one of the greatest gifts you can give a child.
