RE: What is your favorite book?

John Steinbeck and Ernest Hemmingway both have some terrific titles you would be remiss not to read, at least 'The Pearl' by Steinbeck and 'The old man and the Sea' by Hemmingway. Two books I could be stranded on an island with forever are 'Siddhartha' by Herman Hesse and 'Candide' by Voltaire.

I will keep these in mind because I haven't read any of them!

I'm almost jealous that you'll be able to read these fresh, I've the read each a few times. They aren't long works, but they are powerful.

Too bad we can't delete our memory of a book so we can enjoy it like the first time all over again!

Alzheimer's? I guess not really a great wish.

Yeah, maybe not, when you put it that way.
