I wouldn't disagree with you on your assessment of the model changing. The problem I see though is with so many new users on the platform the rewards are already spread even thinner than they used to be. Now add in the entrepreneurs taking their cut and there are going to be even less rewards to go around. It is too common these days to see so many people putting out great content but still getting small rewards. I think there may be a point where Steemit loses as many users as it gains due to fatigue and disillusionment. The problems is those users leaving will be real people who put out quality content and not bots.
