A few days ago we witnessed the departure of Tal ‘Fly’ Azik and Gustav ‘s4’ Magnusson from the OG lineup. This came as a shock as the team would not receive a direct invite to The International 2018 (due to the departure of Resolution after the season roster lock) and had to play for the qualifiers if they hoped to attend The International 2018. Thankfully, the team has found their replacements for their missing players which has been confirmed by a Tweet from @7ckingMadDOTA to be Topias ‘Topson’ Taavitsainen a Finnish mid-lane player who played for 5ANC and the ex-OG player, Anathan ‘ana’ Pham , who initially replaced Amer 'Miracle' Al-Barkawi when he departed for Team Liquid. Ana had previously helped the team secure victories at both the Kiev and Boston Major’s before departing post-TI7 after the team had a disappointing top 8 finish.
At the end of last month both Tal ‘Fly’ Azik and Gustav ‘s4’ Magnusson parted ways with OG after the team had disappointing results in this first season of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit. Both the players would go on to join Evil Geniuses, leaving OG with the three remaining members, which included their coach, Sebatien ‘Ce6’ Debs (formerly known as 7Mad) who stepped in after the departure of, Roman 'Resolution' Fominok, from the team earlier that year. Ce6 will now be playing assuming the offlane role, while Jesse ‘JerAx’ Vainikka retains his position 4 spot and Johan ‘n0tail’ Sundstein moves into the position 5 role.
The Full OG roster now consists of:
Anathan ‘ana’ Pham - (1)
Topias ‘Topson’ Taavitsanien - (2)
Sebastien ‘Seb’ Debs - (3)
Jesse ‘JerAx’ Vainikka - (4)
Johan ‘n0tail’ Sundstein - (5)
