According to Chuck Watson, Risk modeler of Enki Research, Hurricane harvey has caused an economical damage for the US economy, worth over $42 billion dollar, significantlly higher than previously estimated.
Further analysts assume, the damage will greatly increase, up to $100 billion dollars. This would put Hravey amongst other Disasters like Hurricane Katrina.
Harvey still isn't over and we can all hope for the best that many people will survive.
Even then it'll one incredible task to repair all the damage that was caused by it. Many insurances will most likely fail to come up with the damage, just because so many were hurt by it.
