I Have Swam In All The Great Lakes ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž

I Have swam in all the Great Lakes at this point.

The only ones I had left were Lake Ontario and Lake Huron.

Everyone pretty much told me that Ontario is the dirtiest of the Great Lakes. That was accurate. I honesty didn't want to do it.

Lake Huron was a lot cleaner. A lot of people don't realize there are a couple really nice beach scenes in Ontario. They have the longest fresh water beach and the second longest fresh water beach in North America from what I understand.

You can get to all the Great Lakes from the United States but can't really get to Lake Michigan without crossing into the United States. I swam in Ontario and Huron and Erie from Canada but did Superior and Michigan and also swam in Erie from the American side.

The Great Lakes are amazing! They sre like inland seas.

Which one if you had to pick one?

I would go with Huron. There are so many situations to pick from if you just say Huron. You could be at a huge party beach or a very pristine private beach.

It looks like a cool lake, it looks like it was the sea, nice photos!

Yeah the Great Lakes are so huge you can't see across them so it is like it is a sea or an ocean.

Next you have to try the oceans!! ๐Ÿ™€๐Ÿ˜‚

Technically I have swam in every ocean except the Artic Ocean.

Only one ocean left! Itโ€™s too cold in the Artic Ocean!

Did you make it to the Grotto on Georgia Bay, Lake Huron ? It is spectacularโ€ฆ

Unfortunately not.... I failed the mission. They wouldn't let me park in the parking lot so I parked clear at that beach parking where the water is real shallow even way out a quarter mile practically. I hiked clear from there, clear along the one lake and got clear to the end just to have it turn into a private driveway when I thought it would take me clear to the National Park Land. I was so mad. Then I got rained on.

I was exhausted and honesty it kind of spoiled my trip there to not be able to get back there. Personally I felt like it was ridiculous that they didn't make the parking lots bigger.

Yeahโ€ฆ you basically have to be in line at 6:00 am to get in the parking lot for The Grotto. There are much nicer beaches in Tiny Ontario, near Midland โ€ฆ and further North at Killbear and Killarney โ€ฆ

We go every summer โ€ฆ

Wow! Those are really nice! The Great Lakes certainly are nice! They are like inland seas! I really feel like there is value in Marquette, Michigan and it kind of seems like the next Traverse City

Yes, Marquette is very nice. Iโ€™ll see if I can find some land there next. Stay tuned โ€ฆ.
