I can certainly see that angle for sure. One thing I see a lot is girls wanting to just meet up while they are out with their friends. It takes the pressure off the situation. It can be a double edged sword though.

Oof, I would never go on a date with another girl, if I was actually serious about the guy I was about to meet. Although I have never been one to beat around the bush either. I think that is probably one of the most frustrating parts of modern day dating, well modern day in general I guess: flaky ass people. I don't envy my sister who is still in the dating world after divorce, and even when things are less than ideal in my own marriage, I think about what it's really like out there in dating land and I am immediately motivated to work even harder on my relationship. Between ghosting and whaling and last minute "things coming up" or "fucking and dumping" I am glad to not be in the thick of it. (And I'm not implying that it's all like this, but more than I could handle, that's for sure!)
