How we wound up living on a sailboat in Hawaii - Part 5

in #life8 years ago (edited)

Once we discovered it would take anywhere from 1 - 2 years to get our own slip in the Ala Wai, we started looking for alternatives. That's when we found the Ko'olina Marina. It was brand new, all floating docks and a really beautiful area.
Once all the arrangements had been made we sailed to Ko'olina. What a great adventure! Here is the captain at the helm, with Diamond head way in the background.

And the happy couple, we lived in Hawaii for 5 years! Hope you enjoyed this as much as we did!

I have never been to Hawaii, but want to go! It looks gorgeous!

Just do it

Awsome story! it's never too late to take the leap.

Its easy to get stuck in the standard pattern that that society wants people to live in. Work, spend, consume, repeat.

I cant wait to by my own boat, rebuild it and sail away like you did!

Thanks for stopping by to read a little about us, it's really appreciated. If this is truly something you want to do, don't wait...just do it. The reward will be far great than you can imagine. Let us know when you take the leap!
