Meditation Experiences #2: My first technique

Hello Steemians!

Today I'll talk about how I started with meditation, my first technique is the simplest one. Follow these steps:

1 - Find a quiet place and preferably sit like this. Keep your spine as straight as possible, this is where the energy will flow. If this position is painful for some reason you can alternatively sit on a chair, you only need to keep the spine straight.

Hands: Alternatively, you can join hands with crossed fingers or like this:

2 - Close your eyes and relax. Start relaxing your head, face, shoulders and so on until you feel all your body relaxed. But keep the spine straight.

3 - Now you have to clear your mind. Meditation is about a peaceful state of mind. You can't reach it if you're thinking about something. You need to clear all your thoughts. This is the technique I used in the very beginning of my journey and it's quite simple: Watch your breathe. Just focus in your own breath. Don't force it, just pay attention. Doing that you'll slowly clear your mind. In this process, a few things can happen: You can have "visions", hear different sounds, feel your own energy flowing though your body, etc.. It happens because you're dealing with energy. With more and more meditation, you'll feel your own energy more.

4 - Do it regularly. If you want to start with 5 minutes in the morning, no problem with that, just try to do that every day, regularly. Meditation is like gym, you don't get super strong on the first day of training. Gym or exercises are for the physics body, meditation is for spiritual and mind bodies.

5 - You can increase or decrease time as you wish.

Thanks, hope you like it :)
