I think this should be a challenge to everyone in life. Why can we not do anything we want to if we set our hearts on it! We are what we think we are!
Why do we believe that everyone else is smarter, wiser, more talented, have a better education than what we have and thus sell ourselves short! What are we afraid of? Are we just lazy, or getting out of our comfort zone looks like too much work? Are we afraid of failure or success? Or luck was on that person’s side and not ours. We come up with excuses everyday why we cannot do certain things.
“A man can be as great as he wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done.” ~Vince Lombardi
Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek. Barack Obama

Elder Dallin H Oaks says” “There are few things more fulfilling and fun than learning something new. Great happiness, satisfaction, and financial rewards come from this. An education is not limited to formal study. Lifelong learning can increase our ability to appreciate and relish the workings and beauty of the world around us. This kind of learning goes well beyond books and a selective use of new technology, such as the internet. It includes artistic endeavors. It also includes experiences with people and places: conversations with friends, visits to museums and concerts, and opportunities for service. We should expand ourselves and enjoy the journey.”
President Eyring says in his talk “Do What They Think You Can’t Do” “Most people stop learning and doing things out of fear. They are afraid they cannot learn or cope with the challenges. You need never have that fear if you are faithful. Your formal schooling may be interrupted for some reason, but I want you to know with absolute certainty that you can learn. Great learners believe that. They have the attitude that they can learn.”
“Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.” ~Helen Keller
“Remember these three beliefs: First, there is no limit to your potential learning as a child of God. Second, childlike humility is the key to teachableness. And third, living a clean life will allow the Holy Ghost to confirm and expand your learning.” ”If these are your beliefs, and if you live by them, then you too will be able to “do what they think you can’t do.”
“Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.” ~Jim Rohn
“What you thought before has led to every choice you have made, and this adds up to you at this moment. If you want to change who you are physically, mentally, and spiritually, you will have to change what you think.” ~Dr. Patrick Gentempo
“Be impeccable with your word. Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.” ~Miguel Angel Ruiz
“In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.” ~Tony Robbins
“You are never to old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” ~C.S. Lewis
Let us keep on dreaming dreams and make a success of our lives, that in the end we can say ,”I have lived a good life, and do not regret any moment of it”
Remember every experience in life is a teaching moment!
Keep learning!
