There are really important links being established between banks across the globe and Bitcoin, but remember that Bitcoin is decentralised and all the Blockchains created by these banks will be centralised and will have by definition points of failure!
Do your very best to avoid the FUD out there, particularly when Bitcoin price is down as it WILL rise again and you need to be ready for that by accumulating more BTC where possible.
