There are many squares in Dalian. It is said that it is one of the cities which has most squares in the country. Yesterday, I walked past and attracted by the view of the Olympic square , now I will share it with you .
In the South of the square is a Henglong shopping Mall which is just open a few days ago. Baisheng shopping center and WanDa cinema are in the north . In the east of square is the bustling food square and a public fitness center in the west . So the Olympic Square is in the prosperous downtown district .
The Olympic square is a square built to commemorate the centennial of Dalian and to carry forward the Olympic spirit. It was built in 1999 and is a tribute project of Dalian City, 100th anniversary. It has become a beautiful sight in Dalian.
The square is divided into two parts: ground and underground. Ground Plaza to the main Olympic rings, there are five venues. The underground Plaza is a large shopping mall with 92 thousand square meters and two sunken squares. Among them, the world's largest retail company WAL-MART stationed here, but also because of this, the square area is gradually completed, shopping, catering, entertainment venues are very perfect. It is a commercial center for large fitness, tourism, sightseeing and dining entertainment.
The Olympic Square with green grass, flowers, beautiful scenery, attracting a large number of foreign tourists, is a good place for leisure and entertainment. The square is built to make a better life and let the people live better.

广场南面是刚开业不久的恒隆广场，北面是百盛购物商场和万达影城，东侧是繁华的饮食广场，西侧有大连市民健身中心，因此奥林匹克广场处于繁华的商圈之内。
奥林匹克广场是为纪念大连建市百年，弘扬奥林匹克精神而建的广场，建成于1999年，是大连建市100周年的献礼工程，已经成为大连一道亮丽的风景。
广场分地上和地下两部分。 地面广场以奥运五环为五个大活动场地。地下广场是9.2万平方米的大型商城和两个下沉式广场。其中世界最大的零售企业沃尔玛就进驻在这里，也是由于这点，广场一带的商圈逐渐成行，购物、餐饮、娱乐场所都十分完善。成为大型健身、旅游、观光和餐饮娱乐的商业中心。
奥林匹克广场绿草茵茵，花香四溢，景色怡人，吸引了大量中外游客，是人们休闲，娱乐的好去处。广场的建成，让人们美好生活， 让生活更美好！
