On day 76 I went to a yoga class for the first time in my life. Ever since I saw a tv report about Bikram Yoga a couple years back I wanted to try it out as it seemed like a nice challenge I could enjoy. Bikram Yoga, also called hot yoga is a series of postures and exercises in room that is heated at 40° celcius. It takes 90 minutes, is extremely intensive making you sweat like never before in your life and it is suppored to burn up to 1000 calories and be really healthy because it makes you much more flexible, increases your heath rate and works highly detoxifying.
I actually really enjoyed this hot yoga class and an looking to do at least 4 more of them this week since I got a 1 week starter promo which I want to use to the fullest. Even though I'm not that flexy, most exercises where still possible to do in a fair extend and I did not have much problems with the heat or overall intensity which is a very good sign when it comes down to my overall fitness. The sweathing was very intense though, but also enjoyable at the same time.
As far as the social aspect goes it was a bit dissapointing, there was no talking allowed in the room and most people (mostly women with somewhat of a yoga body) seemed to just come and go with little social interaction. I really do like this as an activity to do when going on a date with someone, especially if they never heard of did hot yoga in their live since they won't know what hit them and are likely to find it an overall great experience.
Another day and another moring run, keeping the runs fairly short really helps to keep me going and I plan to continue despite the very intensive bikram yoga classes I will be joining this week.

Wow, I have been meaning to get my ass back to shape: hence, my screen name. That's one of the reasons I started this account. I need to get motivated and do this. Your post is inspiring. Keep it up!
Thanks imskinnyfat !
Steemit is really a great tool to help making a change by writing about it on a consistent daily basis. If anything, when you obligate yourself to write a daily honest post on the progress you are making you will eventually see results. It is way more difficult just to write each day that you did noting compared to actually working out and eating healthy. Having a way to monitor yourself and be hyper aware about it really get things done even if it's at a slow pace.
Good Luck,
I'll be following.
The day has only 23 hours and not 24, do you know why? Because one hour is booked always for running.
