When you're truly in love with someone; there is the tendency to allow the person to be free and do what makes him/her happy. When you decide what they should/shouldn't do, it becomes selfish and controlling (which is infatuation).
What a lot of people fail to realize is that true love comes to us all; if the person you're in love with is really reciprocating your love, you will never have to worry about their actions because they know what you don't like and won't imagine doing anything to hurt you. When you have to continually bicker about their actions bothering you, then it's either they're still learning to love you or they can't be bothered.
Most people are in relationships that they claim to be loving because they are usually not able to stay alone or patiently search for the one either out of peer pressure or inability to control their urges.
