near death? overgrown grass fields? land mines? getting lost? hahaha! I have no idea. trying to let me imagination go wild.
interesting that the fishing trip starts off at around 4pm and ends at sunset. pretty short I assume since the sun sets around 6pm here in this part of the world.
it's wonderful reading about how you and your dad share memories from a common activity. I don't really have a common interest with my dad now but I surely treasured the times he played with me while I was growing up :)

Well, the sunsets in summer go a bit longer. Until about 7-8pm. And, since this fish bite like crazy if you are skilled more than 2 hours you would not know what to do with the fish. lol
We sure did share some great memories no doubt. This is just one of them. I am glad you have some good memories of your dad.
Honestly, I started with the idea for just one post without splitting it, but the more I got into to the story the more details I remembered and I just had to share them. The story would not be the same without them. :)
