A grandfather is talking with his grandson and he says there are two wolves inside of us which are always at war with each other.
One of them is a good wolf which represents things like kindness, bravery and love. The other is a bad wolf, which represents things like greed, hatred and fear.
The grandson stops and thinks about it for a second then he looks up at his grandfather and says, “Grandfather, which one wins?”
The grandfather quietly replies, the one you feed
I was browsing steemit today and noticed an insightful post from @crystalandbones. It got me thinking of this story I shared with my grandson just the other day. I now share with you! Being good and accepting that it takes effort is something valuable to teach a young one.
Have you taken some time to teach someone recently?
I remember hearing this story from one of my professors, such great advice to always remember.
I just got done teaching my mechanic and dear friend, who introduced me to Steemit, about crop rotation and he just taught me a little more about my Mercedes and how to care for it.
I always enjoy learning and teaching that is why I miss being a poetry and theater teacher so much!
A lovely day to you 🌱
