Hello steemian friends. It can really be depressing and frustrating when we struggle with guilt from our past especially when you are not the offender. Holding on to the past can keep one stagnant and unproductive for too long if not checked "NOW" and not tomorrow. But no matter how tough things might be with us, don't post pone your happiness, healing, peace or progress for any reason. Stop fixing days to make a necessary change in your life because there is no perfect or right time to break free from the depression, guilt and hurt, other than now. The only person that can save you is "YOU", make up your mind for a change and it will come. According to Albert Ellis ABC model of cognition behavioural therapy model, an event can affect you either positively or negatively depending on the interpretation you give to it.

Your belief system has a major role to play in letting go of painful experiences and trust me, if you see your situation in a positive light, learning a thing or two from it, your healing is certain and you will progess beyond expectations. Let's attract what we want and not the other way round.
You deserve to be happy and healthy both inside out.
