Palliative Care is about patients of any age who are at the end of their lives due to irreversible illnesses. Its goal is to meet every need, both physical and psychological, to reduce pain and to secure its inalienable right to dignity and life.
AGAPAN is a recognized nonprofit association, founded by a group of Greek Volunteers to cover the need for support and care for patients suffering from incurable irreversible illness as they go through the end of their lives.
The members of AGAPAN, a dynamic group of people with scientific training in various specialties, fought and succeeded in institutionalizing and legislating the institution of Palliative and Palliative Care in Greece and the operation of hostels, according to the IAHPC's global specifications.
