I was dining with my darling recently at a Thai place in St Cloud, MN. We saw this interesting elephant puppet type thing. The above is the #funkyedit (thx for that tag @tattoodjay.)
Heres the "unfunky" edit:
Elephants have a calming vibe. The memory attached to this photo is most important. Always cherish your loved one, even if many miles separate you.
I think we can soon create an #elephantphotography contest 😜🐘🐘🐘😜
Hehehe...
Best regards
Tom
I thought this one might resonate with YOU =)
Holy cow! er.... I mean elephant! It's hard to see them being the same image!
PLEASE do a post taking us through the steps you took to get from one to the other - I really want to make better friends with my wilder, more artistic side for photos.
Thanks, i never think about doing that.
I always start with basic sharpening 0f the image. Usually.
I do a lot with contrast and saturation/ select color contrast/ saturation/ manipulation. I'm still learning.
I learned a lot from @tattoodjay just by looking at his photographs and some other steemians too
Yeah, that's sort of my direction as well - though I usually correct light/dark first. But to each her own in this case. But you have gone some directions with this that most wouldn't think of, so it's a very good candidate for a tutorial post. (I need to do some of those too, actually.)
What a cool funky edit!
Thx a bunch
i love the funk makes it pop more
Appreciated
Thai it, you'll like it!
I did and love it!
