When did you leave your job as nurse practicioner? Were you a hospitalist or work in skilled nursing?
I'm a licensed physical therapist assistant. I love to be able to help people regain their mobility.
But i hate the crazy shit medicare Expects these days and the stuff medicaid wont conver. Do i really need to be Seeing someone who's unalert for 60 minutes? No.
Does the woman who was denied knee surgery deserve more physical therapy treatment to maintain her mobility? YES. meanwhile she's on medicaid, is in poverty, and denied firther treatment, now has bilateral knee and hip contractures. >_<
Medicare is doing away with rug levels soon so that might help but i hate not being able to provide for someone based off what insurance they're on.

The cookie cutter approaches to education. ...

I walked away from my profession 3 1/2 years ago. I was under the umbrella of a hospital but practiced in an office. Autonomy was just an illusion. It is sad to see so many still believing that they have control. Because your eyes are open I believe you will see a way for change! Thank you for your comments upvote and most of all resteem.

Thanks i truly hope so
