Hello, all Happy Steemians!
It's great to see you again after one week off from this platform. I felt anxious in these several days because I didn't leave any comments in my friend Steemians' blog during this week. It seemed that something missing in my routine. heheheheheh.
In this opportunity, I would like to share my thought about one of common characters of people, called judgmental. Anyone of you knows what does "judgmental" mean? In Merriam-Webster dictionary, the word "judgmental" for learners' definition is defined as "tending to judge people too quickly and critically". As far as I understood, the judgments are considered on the difference of someone's physical appearance, life-background, life-style, and so on.

Have you ever found someone who has not really recognized you yet, then she/he said that "you are very kind person, full of love and affection". Conversely, there is someone who judge you as a mean and easygoing one just because you didn't want to interact or friendly talk with her/him.
In another case, there was someone who complained on your great idea so much. But indeed, they knew nothing about the mechanism of practicing the idea in the real situation. Others, once a teacher punished her student just because he didn't want to do his English task, and then he was labelled as a lazy, disobeyed, and bad student.
Rarely did ones try to dig what and why all such behaviors have occurred. The easiest way is judging others based on what they did, what they wore, and how they reacted.
I am sure that almost all people in this world are familiar enough with the following proverb, " Don't Judge the Book by its cover". Of course, people will identify what kind of book it is just by looking at its cover. There are title of the book, the name of the author, year of publishing, and etc. All short information at the cover can be representative of the content of the book. However, by reading the whole chapters of the book, people finally understand what and why the book use such kind of cover.
This illustration is also right for human being. There is a quote "Every single person on this planet has a story. Don't Judge people before you truly know them. The truth might surprise you". People are different from each other, their background, intelligence, education, and also life. Thus, we should not never think that our stories in life are better than theirs. Also, do not try to read someone's mind as if you know everything about her/him. This person will not be comfortable or even become angry because of incorrect judgment on her/his character and attitude. Thus, we must be careful to talk with someone new.
in short, it will be fine if we feel curious on someone, but not so be judgmental.
At last, that's all that I can share today. Hopefully it can be useful for all of readers. Let's respect others' differences by not judging them just because they are different in characters and attitude from us.
Best Regards,
@city29
I like your article @city29. Unfortunately, you rarely make posts; look like a full moon (lage leumah buleun) or look like elephants give birth (lage ceh aneuk gajah). Hahahahaha....
Thanks a lot bg @ayijufridar.
But you are always right. I can not reach "one day one post" yet as you've suggested before. Hopefully one day, I'll have that "Aha" moment when I can write everyday. Hehehehe
