RE: Could I be A Criminal & Not Know It?

in #life6 years ago (edited)

Lol that sucks man! I was victim to some pretty bogus police business a long time ago.
Back when I first started college I didn't own a car so I would ride my bicycle from my parents house to the college I was attending. It was about a 6 or 7 mile bike ride (14-16 km I think?). I was completely unaware that an officer of the law would even "pull over" a bicyclist until the first time. It was late autumn so of course I was wearing a hoodie and my backpack since I was, you know attending school and all. He stopped me because I was suspected in a series of home robberies occurring in the neighborhood. I was dumbfounded and had never had this happen to me before. I answered his questions and when he realized I was just a college student trying to commute he let me go. The second time, a few fun filled weeks later it happened again and this time I was a suspect in a series of pedestrian robberies in the area. I again answered their questions and went back onto my way to class. The third and final time was the most hilarious show of excessive force. This undercover cop came flying to a stop in front of me, crossing a lane of thankfully light traffic to almost hit me and partially hopped a curb. There were more robberies in the area related to Christmas time and I was yet again a suspect. I had enough of this harassment, refused to let him search me, and essentially laughed in their faces because they were abusing their authority. The craziest part of all of this is it happened, all three times, on the exact same street, in the exact same corner spot each time. I couldn't figure out what the hell kind of luck I had to have this happen so often! Mind you I am a Caucasian average looking dude; no tattoo's, piercings, gang looking attire, nothing. And they stop me. I was like are you flipping serious?! Go look for the real criminals, I am just trying to attend college here wtf.

Damn son the streets of Boston sound ruthless! 3 times? Geez they were really out to get you

Either you’re unlucky as hell or you have like a doppelgänger committing petty crime in your area!

You could have totally used that as a spring board for your rap career though, your steemit handle sounds like a rappers name!
