One only has to read Wikipedia 's Universe to understand that man quest for knowledge knows no bounds.I live in the country and on clear nights it seems that you can see uncountable points of light that are stars similar to our sun or are reflections like our moon. Even tho I have never tried I am sure that you could see many many more times the points of light thru a telescope. They seem to go on endlessly and I believe that they do.
Back to the Wikipedia's Universe. What strikes me as extraordinary is what it doesn't say. It talks about the Big Bang that started everything into existence. It explains that matter is expanding the size of the universe at an ever increasing rate. EXPAND the size of the universe? Into what? Another universe?
Articles such as these gets to a point where they can only theorize what they THINK happened and is happening. There is a point to where the greatest minds in the world cannot penetrate the existing barriers to human understanding. I like to think that this more than anything else explains the simple account of creation as explained in Genesis ,the first book of the Holy Bible. While reading Wikipedia the thought came to mind that what expresses the existence of the supreme being more than any other example was the creation of mankind from the earth itself. What proves to me that this is an accurate account is the fact that when a human dies his earthly body returns to earth from which it was created.
I have no problem in believing that there were other civilizations here on this planet before the present one. I have no problem believing that now extinct animals roamed the earth that no longer exist. These things were not part of this creation. We were given a history book with all that we NEEDED to know. We were not barred from learning about other things but there are barriers to our understanding if that all knowing supreme being did not want us to know something.
I find it somewhat amusing that humanity is more interested in learning the secrets of the universe than it does the oceans that are on this earth.

We are the universe which has evolved to realise itself.
Well said. Thank you for sharing.
I agree . People have lost sight of the beauty of life . How can you not think that God created the beauty that exists in the world ? I think if man would accept that God created the heavens and the earth instead of constantly trying to disprove it , we as a nation would be in a much better position than our current state.
