Gender Reveal Party Results...We Are Having A Baby...Come on in to find out!!! 😃

Okay first let me say that my brother had our camera for this event. Please forgive him for the blurry pictures. This was his first time using our Cannon and he did his best. 😜 Thankfully not all of them turned out blurry...those were the ones we took LOL!!! 😂 Love you bro!

Anyhoo, okay you all know we are expecting our FIFTH child and my sister-in-law decided to throw us a gender reveal party. I created an anxious rant post talking about the torture of waiting. This was our first time waiting so long to find out the gender of our baby. So as you should know none of my guesses from that post were correct. The gender was revealed in such a special way we will never forget it and will cherish forever.

So before things got started and before my makeup ran down my face I decided to take some selfies. What? I mean I am 5 months preggo with these raging hormones and a heap of emotions...I was bound to cry that night! 😭

Here’s how I really felt! Not sure if I was getting my second girl and preparing for 4 boys just in case!

Okay now onto the party! Hey don’t you dare scroll down and look ahead that’s cheating! Please read the post in full and view the pictures in order LOL!

There were pink and blue decorations set up and pink and blue balloons everywhere to throw us off. My sister did a good job not leaking any information or letting us see anything that would reveal the gender before it was time. I mean she did so good being secretive it drove me nuts, I was waiting for a slip up so I could find out early!! 🤷🏽‍♀️

Everyone got a chance to grab a pink or blue slip of paper to show which gender they thought it was. Once everyone picked their color they were sectioned off in teams according to what color they had to play a game. We played a game called ‘Name That 90’s TV Show’. We had to listen to the theme song of a TV show and name which show it was. The pink team ended up winning! Yay! We were off to a great start!

After the game everyone was told there was a special message inside one of the balloons that were laying around. All of a sudden you hear POP, POP, POP everywhere! Everyone was rushing to find that special message.

Once all 30 or so balloons were popped (yes my sister had them working but oh it was funny to watch lol) everyone started saying,

Hey there’s no message anywhere! None of the balloons held a message. What’s going on?

So my sister comes down from upstairs laughing and says,

Oh really? My bad I thought I put the message in one of those! 🤭😂

Then she goes around the corner and grabs this red ballon filled with confetti. She tells my husband and I to come with her where everyone could see us. So she gives my husband the balloon and says,

Okay now I remember. There is something in this balloon that will reveal the secret! Pop this and let us know what you find...

So he goes to work so we can finally find out the gender...I hate balloon popping as you can see Ha!!! Guess what we found inside...NOTHING...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! She was really playing with our emotions and leading us on to prolong the suspense! 😫

I began to notice none of my children were downstairs with us. Then all of a sudden we look up the stairway and saw our oldest son wearing a different shirt that said “Mom & Dad.” Then right after him came our middle son who’s shirt said “It’s”. Then right after him came our youngest son and his shirt said “A”!! Everyone had their cameras rolling and photos were being snapped. I grabbed my husband because I knew my daughter was coming next with the Biggest Reveal! It was so exciting knowing we were about to find out the gender of our baby. I wanted to show you a picture of all of the kids coming down the stairs but they turned out too blurry...

My daughter comes around the corner and her shirt reads “GIRL”!!! 🎉🎀🛍🌸💕💜💝

We all started celebrating and jumping up and down in full excitement!! The Lord is blessing us with another baby girl and we are thrilled!!! You can see in the above picture my boys aren’t thrilled with noise lol!! The expression on my daughter’s face was priceless. That mixed with all of the excitement and being overjoyed made me very emotional...

I told ya the tears would fall, and my makeup was all over the rest of the night!

Here is a picture of all of the kids wearing their shirts. My oldest son is not sad about his baby sister, he just got into a toy argument with his cousin. 🤦🏽‍♀️😅

Our four year old wasn’t so thrilled. He’s the only one in the family that wanted another baby brother...

I can’t believe our baby boy is about to be a big brother...

So there ya have it!!! The Reveal is complete and now we can prepare for our baby girl to arrive this June!! We are so excited to have 3 boys and 2 girls!! Whooooo Hooooo!!!

Yea Yea Yea!!! I'm super excited for you (and super jealous). Ha! :) What a great way to find out the gender. I love that your kids got to be a part of it. And your daughter is SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited!!! :) I can't wait to see pictures of this newborn baby. You're looking great, by the way! What a cute bump you have!! :) Congrats!!

It was really special seeing the kids come down to give us the message! My daughter is so tickled pink she doesn’t know what to do lol!!!
