In removing the tarp from a woodpile this morning, I discovered this slab of ice. I was about to toss it and continue with the morning chores, but instead something caught my eye. There was a beautiful fallen leaf along with a large Daddy-Long-Leg spider encased within. I spent some time admiring it with my children. Nature never fails to impress.
