Problem is in the US Christians would never go along with this. Most Christians would die (literally) before we permit the government to do this to us. I would certainly go to prison or be killed opposing this, and every Christian I have met would do the same.
So this is all talk because in the US, there are a lot of Christians.
And I see you were quoting scripture. We are not at the final end yet. Before that day comes, Damascus must be destroyed, and Israel must be only a small remnant of what it was. Only then, do you get to the end end. Isaiah 17. If you wanted to get really technical with interpretation, God sees a generation as 120 years. Israel was formed in '47 or '48, but did not fully regain Jerusalem until '67. According to one way to interpret a verse from Christ "that generation shall not pass away" Matt 24:32... you could take it technical and say either 1947 or 1967 + 120, which gives us 2067 to 2087.
Whatever year it does happen, Isaiah 17 comes first. Today in the US, people butcher prophecy and the Bible so bad because they think every year coming up is the end. It is not. It is not because God's word is true, and certain events have to happen before the end. If you read and believe scripture, the necessary prerequisite events are not fulfilled yet. We are still waiting.
Yes, that is true. I cannot argue with your points. You have also pointed out some valid information that I was not aware of as well. I learn something new everyday as I try and gain knowledge of what is going on in the world and your are right, the final end is not here just yet. It just amazes me how much the bible relates to what is going on in the world and not many people believe in what is written in the bible but everything that is written in the bible is happening right in front of their very own eyes.
