Your way out of not wanting to write is... to write. It doesn't matter what you write about. It doesn't matter for whom you write. Just write.
Set your intention for the day by being productive as early as you can. Having had a couple of kids who were that age a long time ago, I know you may not always control your time. If you can find ways to gain control over some part you will feel better about yourself and how you spend your time.
Do you still make your bed? You did every day in the military and you did it for two reasons. One is conformity but that is less important. The big reason is so you accomplished something positive and put your space in order before doing anything else. Make your bed. I do every morning and I hate it. I also open the blinds which is nice. And I force myself to get dressed (work at home).
Journaling is highly recommended. (I haven't read the other comments but will assume others have suggested it.) Yanik Silver is a big proponent of journaling. Start with the basics. Repeat them if you have to. Write down your accomplishments and your goals. Every. Day.
If you do this, please reply in a few weeks. I'm interested to see how it goes.
