The reflection of mountains
In a mirror like lake
It's hard to know
Which is real or fake
A storm that looms heavily
Over the open prairie
Dumping all the rain
That the clouds could carry
A river that rushes
To go over the falls
A mist rises up, and
Is caught by a squall
Trees that stretch their leafy arms
To form an archway over a path
The sun breaks through in spots
Where creatures sit to sunbathe
Baby plants push up from the soil
Opening up their tiny leaves
The air is filled with their scent
It draws in all the bumble bees
The sun rises on a misty morning
A deer stands majestically
You can count all his points
As he shakes his head dramatically
The oceans churn and roar
As tidal waves roll in
Causing all the ships
To go into a tailspin
The earth puts on her coat of snow
The trees icy, the air is frozen
All of nature hunkers down
As old man winter blows in
