Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I thought I would take this time to give thanks for all that I'm blessed with. I know the world isn't perfect and I am not yet given the luxury of keeping the fruit of my labors, but I'm thankful for what I get to keep.
During my church service last week, my pastor was talking about wealth. I make around $30,000 per year. To me, and to many others, this is chump change. I'm lucky if I get to save $5,000 in a year (especially with a debt payment). When looking at the statistics, I'm in the top 2% of wealth in the entire world. That is crazy to me. Being a lower class American, I am actually richer than 98% of the entire world. That really put things into perspective.
I own a car, I have an affordable apartment to live in, I have minimal debt, I'm healthy, I'm young, and I have an amazing family. I have it so good, yet I allow myself to feel like I don't. This isn't right. From here on out, I'm going to make a better effort of being thankful for what I have. I'm going to use that gratitude to empower me and take myself higher than I've ever been.
Do yourself a favor and make a list of what you're thankful for.

You are right. We should all be more thankful for the beautiful life we have. Most of us can save money, we have enough food and we don´t have to be afraid of e.g. wars.
I wish you all a happy thanksgiving
