Human babies are different, they totally rely on their mother's when they are born even when they are a few years older, with some special cases of course because men can do the same except feeding the child with human milk which again can be rectified by feeding the baby a baby formula and other foods.
But generally we are so helpless when we were born that we needed our parents to nurture us for us to survive. My point being that we own much from our mothers/parents that putting a single special day for them is not enough.
We just have to make everyday a mother's day. We have to show them that we love them while they are still around. Humans only live for a moment in time and for fortunate ones they can live as much as over 90 years old.
This saddens me because I know that my mother is already old and she will not be around to support me mentally and physically. Her presence will surely be missed by me most especially because of the impact she gave to my life even though she is also the one that bars me from some of my plans in my life.
So it will not be fair if we just live here in this world and that is it. So being a spiritual person that I am I actually believe that there is something for me beyond this life and even though I know that temporarily me and my parents will part, at least I have a hope in my heart that I can be able to see and meet them again in heaven. may God wills it for me.
Yeah I agree, our mothers should be appreciated everyday. Sadly have never met my mom since 2001
