I came across a nice quote that I think will be a good reason why I must "hold" my Hive and Zing; it goes this way...
"Your storm will eventually run out of rain. Be patient while waiting for your sunshine to return."
That's crypto! Price stability will never be one of the major characteristics of a non-stable coin crypto. The prices of coins may rise and fall. I don't think that it will be stable anytime soon. Actually, I'd rather see it go up and down the trading charts because it will only make gains through the process. I'm not a trader so I don't really follow the price on an every-minute basis.
For me, I enjoy building and accumulating until such time that I build my own Hivepower goal. It's rewarding because I know that I'll be able to compound my earnings to earn more tokens through curation.
Actually, my experience here in Hive is unlike any other crypto projects. Over here, It doesn't feel like waiting for the day that you will sell your tokens. Instead, what's actually happening is that we are doing something, working on our posts, engaging with other people here in Hive until such time that we exit or we no longer wish to participate.
There are alternatives like converting to HBD and then bank it in savings to earn 20% APR. That's another cool use-case of HBD and a good passive income strategy for investors as well.
What ever the case and the strategy that you wish to do, there are many options that one may consider to do here in Hive while waiting for the bull market season. Cheers!
You have explained a crucial thing that too in fewer words. I also don't compare Hive to any other crypto, It is not an asset that you accumulate at a low price and sell at a higher price. If it's only about making money, it's no less than a business, with some similar uncertainties.
But if you remain consistent with your hard and smart work, then you also get its reward. Sometimes it takes a while but hard work and patience definitely pays off. :)

I haven't gone through an entire market season yet but there have been days that its hard to stay positive but keeping Hive locked on HP helps 😅 to stay firm, I just look forward for the day that the market skyrockets and never come back to my entry price, something told me the market was going to crash so for the last two months I have been just adding on my HBD to avoid buying at $0.40 and then getting slap in the face when Hive went back to $0.30, there are a few projects Im interested on Hive like VSC and LEO so I think the future looks bright
