The study found,
people who often daydream and fantasize tend to be less happy than people who always focus on Every reality.
IndonesiaA leading figure of happiness researcher Dr Matt Killingsworth from Harvard University
he had designed a mobile phone application addressed to the respondents to know how big the impact of fantasizing on the long term.
The app contains daily questions like how you feel,
what do you do, do you think of anything else than what you are doing?
After the application was tested on thousands of respondents, it was concluded that
fantasizing about something neutral or negative, it can make a person feel less happy by way of damaging the mood.
However, fantasizing the beautiful,
nor does it improve mood one bit.
Killingsworth says, "When our minds wander, I think it really blunts the enjoyment of what we do."
